Travelling to Roehampton

Directions to University of Roehampton Drama Department:

From central London:

The closest train station is Barnes, which can be reached directly by train from London Waterloo or Clapham Junction. From Barnes you can walk to the University (20 mins), follow the signs to Roehampton University out of the station, cross over the road at the crossroads and follow the road until you reach the main entrance of the University on the right. Alternatively you can catch the number 72, or number 265 bus from bus stop B outside the station and travel 3 stops to the Roehampton University/Main Entrance stop.

You can also catch the number 72 bus all the way from Hammersmith underground station (Bus stop K in the bus station). This takes approximately 25 minutes.

From the Main Entrance to the Drama Department (Jubilee Building):

There’s a lot of building works taking place on campus at the moment so the simplest way to reach the Drama department is by taking a left right behind the security hut at the main entrance. This road will take you behind a halls of residence; follow it up until you meet the other road and take a right. Walk past the Santander bank and continue on. The large white building directly ahead of you is the drama department (Jubilee), to access it take a left down the small path ‘Father Ryan’s Walk’ and on the right there are double glass doors – our registration desk will be directly behind these in the foyer of the building.

To reach Covent Parlour:

The keynote will take place in Convent Parlour, we will clearly signpost this and guide you, but from the Drama department turn right out of the double doors, go straight on and turn right under an archway and into the courtyard that houses The Hive café. Turn left out of the archway and walk through the courtyard and into the doors directly ahead. Convent Parlour is directly on the left through the corridor.
